Public Procurement Law

Public procurement accounts for 15-20% of global GDP. In many sectors such as defense, energy, transport, waste management, social protection and the provision of health or education services, public authorities are the principal buyers. The Public Procurement Commission addresses all topics pertaining to public procurement both from the public and the private perspective across a multitude of jurisdictions. It offers its members the chance to deep dive in the most burning issues and provides them with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the transformative changes currently shaping the international public procurement landscape, as well as the underlying drivers of these changes.

The Commission works in close collaboration with leading experts from across the globe to identify and analyse significant developments that are of paramount importance to our clients and to the wider practitioner community. Topics covered by the Public Procurement Commission include PPP, joint ventures, exclusions and debarments, the structuring and negotiation of government contracts, and many others. As some sectors, such as e.g. defense and pharmaceuticals, are governed by a specific procurement regime, the Commission also puts sector-specific matters in the spotlight.
